Question: In the Bloomberg API, instead of my data displaying, I see nothing or get an error message. How do I fix this?


If the Bloomberg Excel API is not working, it is likely that the monthly data download limit has been reached and downloading via the terminal has been disabled. Please report the problem via Ask A Librarian email (select "Business" as your subject) and move to another terminal. Our staff will work with Bloomberg to fix the issue.

These error messages may display when downloading is disabled: #N/A Unknown; #N/A Mth Lmt; #N/A Limit; #N/A Authorization.
