A few features separate UltraViolet from other open access repository services. We also do not have a hard size limit for deposits, unlike many other repositories. UltraViolet will allow your work to be searchable alongside the work of other NYU scholars, through our platform; alongside other collections housed at NYU, through the library catalog; and more broadly on the Web. Your deposit will be curated by NYU’s data librarians, with additional curation support from the multi-institutional Data Curation Network. Additionally, UltraViolet  offers many of the same guarantees as other repositories, such as a DOI for published records and long-term bit-level preservation.
