UltraViolet does not offer a restricted file option, and as a result is not suitable for certain kinds of data, such as that containing PHI (private health information). The UltraViolet service team can help you find other repositories that offer restricted file access as an option.

At this time, UltraViolet has only two options for files: fully openly accessible, or embargoed for up to a year.
