Answer

Data Services offers introductory tutorials in most of our supported software packages. While participants should not expect to fully understand how to use a software package by attending one of these tutorials, they will become more comfortable with the interface and some common applications of the software.

Data Services also provides links to a wide variety of  instructional resources on the Data Services web pages. However, it should be noted that some supported software packages require more than a technical understanding of the software; if you are struggling with the conceptual component of a specific analysis then we recommend enrolling in a NYU course and/or consulting appropriate educational materials.
