Question: Where can I find Canadian economic statistics?

Answer

Go to the Business Library's Economics & Statistics section for links to useful resources including the following suggested resources:

FitchConnect: Formerly called BMI Research, FitchConnect contains proprietary data, rankings, ratings and forecasts for many countries and industries.   The research features country risk, financial market analysis and industry research.  Currently FitchConnect is only accessible when on campus or via NYU VPN.

EIU Country Data: Go to Americas, Canada.  Choose any of the broad category topics provided.

CEIC The Global Database provides a wealth of economic, financial and industry data in global markets.

The Government of Canada provides current economic indicators for the Canadian Economy, go to the Business tab and select more from the drop down, Business and Industry, Planning, Market Research and statistics, Canadian Economy.

The Bank of Canada provides statistics on a variety of banking and financial topics.
