Question: Can I still check out books if I have an unpaid library fine?

If you have unpaid fines greater than $25, you will be blocked from renewing current loans or checking out additional books.

Fines greater than $100 or a lost book on your account will also block you from graduation, course registration, and access to official transcripts. See the Fines page for more information.
