Question: Why can't I renew my books online?

Answer

Most circulating books checked out from Bobst can be renewed online indefinitely, but some are not eligible for renewal. These include:

  • some Interlibrary Loans*
  • all E-ZBorrow books
  • recalled books
  • Leisure Collection books
  • Reference books
  • periodicals
  • Course Reserve books

*Please note that Interlibrary Loans that are renewable are only eligible for one online renewal, and that the renewal request must be submitted through your ILL account, and not your NYU library account.  Please contact Interlibrary Loan with renewal questions.

Books overdue by more than 30 days may not be renewed online and should be returned. Outstanding fines and overdue books may also prevent you from renewing books online.

If online renewal services are unavailable, try again later or contact the library for help.
