Question: What are oversized books, and where are they?

Answer

NYU New York (Bobst): Oversized books are too large to fit on the regular stacks shelves, so there are special sections on each floor for them. Check the floor maps to find these materials. For other NYU New York libraries, please consult the individual libraries' web pages.

NYU Abu Dhabi: We have very few items that are oversize; however, there are a few items that are shelved on the top or bottom of the shelf where they would normally have been shelved. Should you need assistance, please come to the Information Desk on the main floor.

NYU Shanghai: We have very few items that are oversize; however, there are a few items that are shelved on the top or bottom of the shelf where they would normally have been shelved. Should you need assistance, please come to the Information Desk on the fourth floor.

Consortium libraries (e.g. Cooper Union, The New School List Center and Fogelman Libraries, New York School of Interior Design Library, etc.): Please consult the individual libraries' web pages.
