Fines and fees incurred in U.S. dollars will need to be paid in Chinese currency RMB.  Alipay, WeChat pay and China Union Pay are accepted for online payment. 

Pay Online

Patron can go https://epay.shanghai.nyu.edu/  to pay for library fines and fees.  

• Under “SSO User” tab, log in to your NYU account (SSO authorization is needed)
• On the Main Page, find and click “Library”
• Select "Overdue Fines" or "Replacement Fee" or “Interlibrary Loan Fines” or “Others”, and Click "Pay"
• Type in the amount owed in USD and it will be automatically converted to RMB.
• Library staff will clear your library account upon receiving a system notification

Pay In-Person through Office of Bursar

If you are unable to pay online and would like to pay through the Bursar office, please email us at shanghai.circulation@nyu.edu. We will follow up with you from there.
