NYU New York:
This means the item was requested by another library user and is currently being held at the Circulation desk for them. You may place a hold on it yourself by clicking the Request button in the catalog. When the book becomes available, we will send you an email. A faster option would be to request the item through E-ZBorrow or Interlibrary Loan.

NYU Abu Dhabi: 
This means the item was requested by another library user and is currently being held at the Circulation desk in Bobst Library or at the NYUAD Information Desk for them. You may place a hold on it yourself by clicking the Request button in the catalog. When the book becomes available for you, we will send you an email.  If the item is on hold at NYUAD, you may also speak to a library staff member about using the material for a limited time, within the library, while the book is on hold.

NYU Shanghai:
This means the item was requested by another library user and is currently being held at the Circulation desk in Bobst Library or at NYU Shanghai Information Desk for them.
